Growing up in Toronto, she developed a passion for acting and dance, later studying cinema at the University of Toronto. Sarah Gadon is a talented Canadian actress, born on April 4, 1987, in Toronto, Ontario. Known for her versatility, she began her acting career at a young age and quickly gained recognition in both television and film. Gadon has delivered standout performances in films like Cosmopolis (2012), Maps to the Stars (2014), and A Dangerous Method (2011). She also starred in the miniseries Alias Grace (2017) and 11.22.63 (2016), showcasing her range in period dramas and thrillers.
In recent years, Sarah has continued to shine on the big screen. She appeared in Ferrari (2023), directed by Michael Mann, portraying Linda Christian in a biographical drama about automotive legend Enzo Ferrari. She’s also starred in the romantic drama The Lightkeeper (2023) and the gripping thriller Coup! (2024). Additionally, Gadon took on a leading role in Cry from the Sea (2023), a poignant family drama set in Norway and Canada.
Beyond acting, Sarah has ventured into directing, with plans to direct her first feature film, an adaptation of Heather O’Neill’s novel Lullabies for Little Criminals (2022).
